"Listening to the sound for about 10 minuets,write down what you hear. No confirming with sight. If you hear two children running behind you, write it as you hear."

On November 1st, 2012,I have moved into a room, 10 min walk from the Fuchu Art Museum. I started listening to the soundscape around the area following the simple rule that I described above. I put up the photo of the listening spot on the wall of studio in the museum.

As I proceed listening in various places, I also started to research on the history, weather, geology, animal and plants, and other general information of the region. I picked up most of the documents in the library and read them just like listening to something very carefully.

On Febuary 16th and 17th, 2013, I performed a piece that were brought forth through the listening and research.
